I have made the decision for the next 2 weeks to take off DPD and royal mail. As I live in Leighton Buzzard the local post office is extremely busy at the best of times. what I am finding is that I am queing up for ages. Also the amount of times I have to return with parcels. So at the moment I am using Evri as the main, this is the quickest option for me as I can do it in mass bulk drop offs. I have added yodel as I can drop that off easier as well. I will reintroduce DPD and royal mail after the christmas period. Also along with my work hours it will become unworkable.

I do have to have a rant about something that I have had to contact vinted about. What I am starting to notice is that there is starting to be a high number of customers who are using the feedback you recieve against you after an item is ordered. So in some instances and I will not mention the customers by user name. But when a order is placed its best not to go into the feedback after a purchase is made. If any doubts or reading peoples feedback always contact me before an order not afterwards. I am starting to notice a tactic where an order is placed and then feedback that is referred to. In many instances I have been selling multi lots and as such I cannot complete at a 100% rate. For instance a customer orders 67 items, the way vinted database works it does sometimes contains errors. Mostly for deleted items, or items that have sold previously.
What I will say is that I always aim for a feedback between 3.6-4.3. in that I so send a lot of orders and sometimes people cancel or items cannot be found. If a buyer then contacts me after a purchase and uses it against me prior to posting I will cancel the order and report.
I am not de-value the feedback and am happy to respond to an order in question.At the end of the day I can ony control the feedback by getting orders out and sometimes I cannot get it right all of the time. I think vinted is good but something needs to be worked on with this, which sees to be happening more and more.
It puts the doubts in my mind that a customer might use the feedback from other people as a leverage tool when orders is due to go to complete stage. Normally its buyers who have put in an offer as well. It just looks suspicous so in the end its reported.

What I sell
The collection I sell is a personal collection. Between 2007-2013 we used to be active on another platform and when they started to restrict the adverts we just went to into a retreat. Alot of music went into storage and it was only when we moved to Buckinghamshire that I was able to find a avenue to sell them. Most of that collection is now gone and I only have a few left now, most of that collection was between 1996-2013 in terms of years.
I do sell mostly cd albums, cd singles, books and dvds mostly. I am more for the albums,
Postal Options.
At the moment its EVri only, as I am moving to a new area Im not sure what is available in the local area. This will be updated in a weeks time.
The feedback score and its relation to orders.
So as stated before there has been a development in that if you place large orders and I am missing one title, you can be refunded for that item. This is a blessing, for some reason with the database storage sometimes it will list items that are previously sold or that were deleted. Its now few and far between and I have been doing a lot of editing, so I now have a database of my own which keeps track of the comings and goings. So in the next 2 weeks if a buyer contacts me and says can I have all your Pink Floyd, then I can send them the list. This is going to make it easier.
Some notes
1) Most of the cds are listed within my house and external storage unit, the majority are from1972-2015 as this was most of the time I collected..........
2)My tastes personally are electronic(Kraftwerk, Underworld, Tangerine Dream). As a result I do sell rock music cheap as I am not into it as a genre....... 3) I always try and keep my feedback around the 4.0-4.6. Items are sometimes ordered in error by users and then ask to cancel, which normally generates a negative. I try not to check it, as such. More as an average ….....4) I use postal services in choice of preference Evri, Yodel and DPD. What I am noticing is that Evri is fine with heavy and smaller parcels. But yodel will give me an estimate of time it has to go into the system. But sometimes it will tell me the day its got to be posted by, I go by that date and then it expires. I just prefer evri as I can drop off numerous times a week, I can only drop off at yodel point 2 days a week. Also their label system is long winded........ 5) no collection of vinyl, only cds, dvds, books and the occasional home items........... 6) Very hard to provide track listings on request, I am to provide it more going forward. Might in some cases better to do a google as by the time I find a cd, it could of sold.....7) I have no relation to any other user in that I mean that I only run my page there seems to be a couple of users who link me to user users who sell cheap, the media and titles might be similar but I only have time for one business. My sons sells on vinted but he is mainly for books and singles mostly. I am a one woman band!
