Kleon 2 Laser Power Meter is capable of measuring laser power in continues mode up to 11.1w it's DIY product that I made 2007 and worked on its improvements and designed PCB boards,so it's not on prototype boards soldered on. it's case design was printed on 3d printer and this particular model has a switch between wavelengths 3 position switch pos 1 UV to blue 490nm pos 2 green 505nm to 630nm pos 3 from 630nm to 950nm it can be used in DJ laser shows to test the power of lasers used and its safety standards it can measure whole collection of your lasers in continuous mode no probs and their deteriorating rates if any Or it can be used to monitor deterioration of laser in laser cutters or engravers up to 11.1w max many Chinese laser advertised as 80w 40w 20w 10w are fake representation of electric power and not as it should optical power some people think they bought 80w laser and it's only 10w of optical power bare in mind this meter still would do.. I had some people buy it from that particular industry some used it for pulsed lasers producing 500mj but in pulsed mode won't be that precise but will provide consistent readings it takes for lower power longer time to stabilise around 2min below 100mw where for stronger power over 1000mw will take less time can do Microwatts.example 0.0005 is 500 Microwatts 0.0055 is 5 miliwatts and 500 Microwatts readings are stable and consistent should you follow the ways of using it properly if you have any questions in regards to this meter please let me know or get in touch before purchasing I'm here and always keen to answer any questions should you have one. just drop me a line I will tend respond less then 24 hours this meter can be upgraded to over 16 watts if that need but compromise has to be made batteries will drain faster. however you may ask me before purchasing should you want a stronger power then advertised.. extra 15 quid I can post a new listing including upgrade
